If you're looking at ZeroBounce alternatives, the practical question is simple: what will it cost to verify your list, and how will you be billed? This guide compares official pricing pages captured on 2026-10-25.

Disclosure: This article is published by FairValid. FairValid is listed first by editorial preference, not an independent ranking. We didn't run hands-on accuracy or deliverability tests. Everything below comes from what each vendor says on its own pages. The screenshots show those pages as they looked when we captured them. They don't prove accuracy or delivery results.

What ZeroBounce's pricing page shows

Best fit: Teams that want one credit balance for several tools. ZeroBounce's pricing page says credits can be used for Email Validation, Scoring, Email Finder and Domain Search.

Strengths: The page lists "Credits never expire," "Unknown results are free," detailed status codes, an inbox placement test, an email server test, 24/7 customer support, multiple API keys and 18 validation tools. It also says "99.6% Validation Accuracy Guaranteed." That's the vendor's own claim, and we haven't tested it. "Unknown results are free" means you aren't charged for those results. The page doesn't say whether credits are deducted first and then returned.

Limitations: Freemium doesn't include activity data or access to Warmup or DMARC monitoring. The page says Freemium credits "refill every month" and also that they "don't expire," so check the terms if that matters to you.

Pricing: On pay-as-you-go, 10,000 credits cost $129, or $0.0129 per credit. The minimum purchase is 2,000 credits. A ZeroBounce ONE subscription gives 15% off. Applied to $129, that makes a credit subtotal of about $109.65 for 10,000 credits. The captured page doesn't show the subscription fee itself or the total bundle cost. Freemium is $0 a month and includes 100 validation credits, 1 inbox test, 1 email server test, 1 blacklist monitor and 10 Email Finder uses. For more than 1 million credits, ZeroBounce asks you to contact it for enterprise pricing.

1. FairValid

Best fit: Senders who want clear per-result charges and a choice between a monthly plan and an exact one-time credit amount.

Strengths: FairValid's pricing page charges 1 credit per completed valid or invalid result. Unknown and catch-all results have no net charge, because held credits are released or returned. A "still checking" result has no final charge yet. The hold sets credits aside while the check runs and isn't a completed charge. Every account gets 300 free credits each month, and free credits are used first.

Limitations: Free monthly credits don't roll over, and prices exclude tax, so check the quote and tax before you pay. FairValid's results guide says a valid result never guarantees inbox delivery, and that catch-all results may be less certain at the mailbox level. It also says technical failures and unprocessed items don't create a net verification charge.

Pricing: On monthly plans, credits are added each month and paid credits carry forward. All prices exclude tax:

  • 10,000 credits: $19.50 per month
  • 25,000 credits: $29.50 per month
  • 50,000 credits: $44.50 per month
  • 100,000 credits: $74.50 per month
  • 500,000 credits: $149.50 per month
  • 1,000,000 credits: $224.50 per month

A one-time top-up can be any whole amount from 2,000 to 1,000,000 credits. A one-time top-up of 10,000 credits costs $19.50, excluding tax.

Where FairValid comes out ahead in these captures:

  • Price at 10,000 one-time credits: FairValid lists $19.50 excluding tax. ZeroBounce lists $129 on pay-as-you-go, and its captured page doesn't say whether tax is included. ZeroBounce credits also work across more tools, so you aren't getting exactly the same thing per credit.
  • Monthly free credits: FairValid gives 300 a month. ZeroBounce Freemium gives 100 validation credits.

Neither vendor charges for Unknown results, so that's a shared feature, not an advantage. ZeroBounce also lists tools that the captured FairValid pricing page doesn't mention, such as Email Finder and an inbox placement test.

2. Emailable

Best fit: Buyers who want pay-as-you-go credits that never expire, with deliverability checks paid from the same balance.

Strengths: Emailable's pricing page charges 1 credit per verification for bulk lists, the single-address verifier, the API and the widget. It says credits never expire. Credits spent on Unknown results and duplicates go back to your balance when your list finishes verifying. Emailable says all features are included, with no paid add-ons and no long-term contracts required. It accepts major cards, PayPal and Apple Pay, among other methods.

Limitations: Inbox Reports cost 100 credits per report, and Blacklist Monitors cost 5 credits per check. Credits for Unknown results come back only after the list finishes. New accounts start with 250 credits. The capture doesn't mention a monthly free allowance.

Pricing: Packages run from 5K to 1M credits, and the page says the price per credit drops as volume grows. A subscription saves 15% compared with pay-as-you-go. The captured text doesn't list package prices, so we can't compare Emailable with the others at the same quantity. Emailable's advanced calculator gives detailed figures.

3. MillionVerifier

Best fit: Buyers who want one-time credits that never expire, plus a refund policy for risky results.

Strengths: MillionVerifier's site lists a single email checker, CSV list verification, a bulk verifier, an email verifier API and imports from email service provider (ESP) integrations. It says there are no contracts and that credits never expire. It also lists a "Risky email refund" and a 100% money-back guarantee, and says volume pricing is available above 50M.

Limitations: The capture doesn't say how Unknown results are billed. The risky-email refund is a separate policy, and we don't treat it as the same thing. The capture shows only the pay-as-you-go option, with no free allowance, and a price for only one quantity.

Pricing: 50,000 emails cost $89, or $0.00178 per credit, bought once. FairValid's 50,000-credit monthly plan is $44.50 a month excluding tax. One is a recurring plan and the other is a one-time purchase, so the two prices aren't directly comparable. The captured FairValid text doesn't show a one-time price for 50,000 credits.

How to choose

Start with how many addresses you verify and how often. Pages change, so get the exact quote, including tax, on each vendor's own site. Test a small sample before you commit a full list. With any of these services, a valid result doesn't guarantee inbox delivery.

If clear per-result charges and a monthly free allowance fit how you work, you can start with FairValid's 300 free monthly credits and see how the results look on your own list.
