ZeroBounce Alternatives for Small Lists and Minimum Purchases
ZeroBounce alternatives for small lists: FairValid, Emailable and MillionVerifier compared on minimum purchases, free credits, Unknown billing and pricing.

If you verify small or irregular lists, two questions matter most. How little can you buy, and what does a set number of checks cost? This article compares what the official pages of ZeroBounce, FairValid, Emailable and MillionVerifier showed when we checked them on 2026-11-06.
This article is published by FairValid. FairValid is listed first by editorial preference, not an independent ranking.
We did not run hands-on accuracy or deliverability tests. The screenshots show page content on the capture date only. They do not establish accuracy or delivery outcomes, and prices can change.
What ZeroBounce shows for small purchases
ZeroBounce's pricing page lists pay-as-you-go credits with a minimum of 2,000 credits. It shows 10,000 credits at $129, or $0.0129 per credit. Credits can be used for email validation, scoring, Email Finder and Domain Search. The page says credits never expire and Unknown results are free.
Its $0/mo Freemium plan includes:
- 100 validation credits
- one inbox test
- one email server test
- one blacklist monitor
- 10 Email Finder lookups
The same page says Freemium credits refill every month and also that credits don't expire. It does not reconcile the two statements.
ZeroBounce offers 15% off with a ZeroBounce One subscription (pricing). If that 15% applies to the 10,000-credit price shown, the credit subtotal would be about $109.65. The capture does not show the subscription fee or the total bundle cost.
The 2,000-credit minimum is a real strength for very small purchases. The capture does not show the price at that minimum, so we don't estimate it.

1. FairValid
Best fit: Small or irregular lists where a recurring free allowance and low one-time prices matter.
Sourced strengths: The active FairValid price catalog lists these one-time prices, excluding tax:
- 10,000 credits: USD 19.50
- 25,000 credits: USD 29.50
- 50,000 credits: USD 44.50
- 100,000 credits: USD 74.50
- 500,000 credits: USD 149.50
- 1,000,000 credits: USD 224.50
Monthly plans are a separate billing choice, and a subscription is not required for one-time purchases. Unused paid credits never expire while the account remains open.
Under the credit rules:
- A completed Valid or Invalid result costs one credit.
- Unknown and unresolved catch-all results have zero net charge. Held credits are released or returned.
- Pending is not a final result.
- Technical failures and unprocessed work carry no net charge and are not relabeled Unknown.
- The original account receives 300 free credits each month, and free credits are used first.
Within one imported list, duplicate rows are checked once and mapped back to their source rows. There is no extra repeated-row charge (CSV rules). This does not mean separate submissions or later rechecks are always free.
Sourced limitations: The smallest pack in the catalog is 10,000 credits, larger than ZeroBounce's 2,000-credit minimum. Free credits arrive on the original account's signup date and don't roll over. Additional workspaces get no extra allowance (credit rules). A Valid result never guarantees inbox delivery, and catch-all conclusions may be less certain (results guide).
Pricing versus ZeroBounce: At 10,000 credits, FairValid's one-time price is $19.50, excluding tax. ZeroBounce's pay-as-you-go price is $129, and that capture does not mention tax.
Included services differ. ZeroBounce credits also cover scoring, Email Finder and Domain Search. FairValid credits cover verification and FairMatch, which uses 4 credits when it delivers a verified work email for a new contact (pricing).
FairValid's 300 free monthly credits exceed ZeroBounce's 100 free monthly validation credits. However, ZeroBounce's Freemium plan also bundles inbox, server and blacklist tests.

2. Emailable
Best fit: Teams that want a free starting sample and deliverability tools drawn from one credit balance.
Sourced strengths: Emailable's pricing page describes pay-as-you-go credits with no monthly payments. Credits never expire, and every new account starts with 250 free credits.
Verification costs 1 credit through bulk, the verifier, the API or the widget. Inbox reports cost 100 credits, and blacklist monitors cost 5 credits per check.
Credits spent on Unknown results and duplicates are returned to your balance when the list finishes verifying. The page also lists:
- volume discounts
- no paid add-ons
- no long-term contracts
- payment by major cards, PayPal and Apple Pay, among other methods
Sourced limitations: The page lists selectable volumes from 5K to 1M credits. Our capture shows no dollar prices, so we cannot compare Emailable's cost. The 250 free credits are a starting balance for new accounts, not a monthly refill.
Pricing: Emailable says you can save 15% with a subscription (pricing). The 15% discount is stated, but without captured base prices we can't calculate a dollar subtotal.
Shared features: Emailable, ZeroBounce and FairValid all document no charge for Unknown results. Emailable and FairValid both document duplicate handling within a list. We don't treat these as FairValid advantages.

3. MillionVerifier
Best fit: One-time purchases around 50,000 checks where a refund policy for risky emails matters.
Sourced strengths: MillionVerifier's site shows 50K emails for $89, or $0.00178 per credit. It says credits never expire, there are no contracts, and volume pricing is available above 50M. It lists a risky email refund and a 100% money-back guarantee.
Listed tools include:
- a single email checker
- CSV list verification
- a bulk verifier
- an API
- ESP integration imports
Sourced limitations: The capture shows only the 50K price. Other packages sit behind a "See all packages" link we did not capture. The capture does not say how Unknown results are billed. Its risky-email refund is a separate policy, and we don't treat it as Unknown billing. The page also shows testimonials and ratings, which we have not relied on.
Pricing versus FairValid: At 50,000 credits, FairValid lists $44.50 one-time, excluding tax. MillionVerifier lists $89, and its capture does not mention tax.

Choosing for a small list
- About 300 checks or fewer per month: FairValid's free allowance covers up to 300 Valid or Invalid results each month for the original account. Emailable offers a one-time 250-credit start. ZeroBounce offers 100 free monthly validations.
- Fewer than 10,000 paid checks: ZeroBounce's 2,000-credit minimum is the only stated minimum purchase in these captures. It is below FairValid's smallest 10,000-credit pack. Emailable's presets start at 5K, but its prices weren't captured.
- 10,000 or 50,000 checks: FairValid's price is the lowest of the prices captured at each matching quantity. That means ZeroBounce at 10,000 and MillionVerifier at 50,000; tax handling is noted above. Emailable prices were not captured.
No tool wins on every need. ZeroBounce and Emailable bundle extra tools. MillionVerifier offers a risky-email refund.
If a recurring free allowance suits your list, you can start with FairValid's monthly credits. Review the current quote and tax on the pricing page before you pay.
