FairValid vs MillionVerifier: Pricing and Billing Compared
FairValid vs MillionVerifier pricing at 50,000 credits, plus credit expiry, Unknown-result billing, refunds and duplicate rows, from official pages.

FairValid publishes this comparison. We list FairValid first because it's our product, not because of an independent ranking. The article answers one question: if you need to verify about 50,000 addresses, what does each service charge, and which billing rules affect what you actually pay?
We checked every figure below against the official pages captured on 2026-10-30. Prices and terms can change after that date, so review the live pages before you buy. This comparison covers documented pricing and billing only. We did not run any hands-on accuracy or deliverability tests.
The like-for-like comparison: 50,000 credits
50,000 is the only quantity with a price in the MillionVerifier capture, so that's the quantity we compare.
- FairValid: 50,000 credits cost USD 44.50 as a one-time purchase, excluding tax, according to the FairValid pricing catalog. That's about $0.89 per 1,000 credits.
- MillionVerifier: 50K emails cost $89, listed as $0.00178 per credit, on the MillionVerifier homepage. That's $1.78 per 1,000.
At this quantity, FairValid's listed price is half of MillionVerifier's. Some caveats apply. FairValid's price excludes tax. The MillionVerifier capture shows a dollar sign but doesn't name the currency or say whether tax is included. Check both on the live checkout before you treat the gap as final.

How FairValid billing works
According to its pricing page, FairValid offers two separate ways to buy credits:
- One-time purchases. The listed tiers are 10,000 credits for $19.50, 25,000 for $29.50, 50,000 for $44.50, 100,000 for $74.50, 500,000 for $149.50 and 1,000,000 for $224.50, all excluding tax. A one-time top-up can also be any whole amount from 2,000 to 1,000,000 credits.
- Monthly plans. These automatically buy a fixed number of credits each billing period. You don't need a subscription to make one-time purchases.
Paid credits never expire while your account stays open. The original account also gets 300 free credits each month on its signup date. Unused free credits don't roll over, additional workspaces get no extra free allowance, and free credits are used first (credit rules).
The final result determines the charge (credit rules):
- Valid or Invalid: one credit per completed result.
- Unknown and unresolved catch-all: zero net charge. Credits held for the check are released or returned, and returned credits keep their original lot and expiry rules. The pricing page summary says "catch-all," but the credit rules specify unresolved catch-all results.
- Pending (still checking): this isn't a final result. The pricing page notes that a credit hold is not a completed charge.
- Technical failures and unprocessed items: no net charge. FairValid doesn't relabel them as Unknown.
The results guide adds that results are evidence, not a delivery guarantee, and that a Valid result never guarantees inbox delivery. Catch-all domains can also make a mailbox-level conclusion less certain.

For CSV imports, duplicate rows within one imported list are checked once and mapped back to every source row, with no extra charge for the repeats (CSV rules). This applies only to repeats inside a single import. FairValid doesn't promise that separate submissions or later rechecks are always free.

How MillionVerifier billing works
The MillionVerifier homepage describes pay-as-you-go verification credits: "Buy credits once. Use them forever." It says the credits never expire and promises "No contracts." The page lists:
- a single email checker
- CSV list verification
- a bulk verifier
- an email verifier API
- imports through email service provider (ESP) integrations
- a refund for risky emails
- a 100% money-back guarantee
- volume pricing above 50M
The capture doesn't explain how MillionVerifier bills Unknown results. A refund for risky emails is not the same as a rule for Unknown results, and nothing in the source links the two. If this matters for your lists, ask MillionVerifier directly.

Where FairValid has an evidenced advantage
- A lower listed price at 50,000. It's $44.50 excluding tax versus $89, or about $0.89 versus $1.78 per 1,000 (FairValid, MillionVerifier). The currency and tax caveats above still apply.
Some FairValid rules are documented but don't count as proven advantages. FairValid spells out zero net charge for Unknown and unresolved catch-all results, and it keeps technical failures separate from Unknown (credit rules). The MillionVerifier capture doesn't cover Unknown billing. That's a gap in what's documented, not evidence that MillionVerifier charges for Unknowns.
The same reasoning applies to FairValid's 300 free monthly credits, exact-amount top-ups and duplicate-row handling. The MillionVerifier capture doesn't mention them, and that silence doesn't prove MillionVerifier lacks them. Credits that don't expire are a shared feature, not an advantage.
Where MillionVerifier may fit better
- Very large volumes. MillionVerifier mentions volume pricing above 50M (homepage). FairValid's listed tiers go up to 1,000,000 credits (pricing).
- Stated guarantees. MillionVerifier advertises a 100% money-back guarantee and refunds for risky emails (homepage). If those protections matter to you, read the full terms.
- Simpler expiry wording. MillionVerifier says its credits never expire, with no condition attached (homepage). FairValid's wording applies "while the account remains open" (credit rules).
- ESP integration imports. These are listed for teams that want to pull lists directly from a sending platform (homepage).

Bottom line
At 50,000 credits, FairValid's documented price is lower, and its rules for Unknown, pending and failed checks are written out. MillionVerifier lists volume pricing above 50M, a money-back guarantee and refunds for risky emails. This comparison covers pricing only. It doesn't show which service is more accurate or which delivers better, so there's no overall winner.
If FairValid's rules suit your workflow, you can try it with the 300 free monthly credits before choosing a one-time pack or monthly plan.
